What To Do If Your Official Business Account (Blue Tick) Request Is Rejected?
When you register a WhatsApp Business API account through us, we will submit a request to Meta (Facebook) for an Official Business Account (OBA), also known as the Blue Tick verification.
Please note that only a small number of businesses meet Meta’s criteria for an Official Business Account. The approval or rejection decision is entirely determined by Meta, based on their internal criteria.
To be eligible for a Blue Tick, your business must represent a well-known, frequently searched brand or entity. Meta typically reviews accounts that are featured organically in multiple reputable news sources — paid or promotional content is not considered.
Meta has not publicly disclosed the exact criteria for Blue Tick eligibility. However, you can refer to their official documentation for general guidance:

If your Blue Tick request is rejected, you may request us to resubmit the application after 30 days from the date of the last submission, as Meta imposes a waiting period between requests.
