Why I Got This Error: 131026 Message Undeliverable

You may encounter the "Message Undeliverable" error when attempting to send a message on WhatsApp. This error occurs due to one of the following reasons:

  • The recipient’s phone number is not associated with a WhatsApp account.

  • The recipient has not accepted WhatsApp’s latest Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  • The recipient is using an outdated version of WhatsApp.

What version of WhatsApp is required?

To receive messages, the recipient must be using the following WhatsApp versions or newer:

  • Android: 2.21.15.15

  • SMBA: 2.21.15.15

  • iOS: 2.21.170.4

  • SMBI: 2.21.170.4

  • KaiOS: 2.2130.10

  • Web: 2.2132.6

How can the recipient resolve this issue?

If you are unable to send a message, ask the recipient to do the following:

  1. Confirm their WhatsApp account

    • Ensure their phone number is registered on WhatsApp.

    • Verify that they can send a message to your WhatsApp Business phone number.

  2. Accept the latest Terms of Service

    • Navigate to Settings > Help (or Settings > Application Information).

    • Accept the latest Terms of Service if prompted.

  3. Update WhatsApp

    • Install the latest version of WhatsApp from their app store (Google Play, App Store, or WhatsApp website).
