Changes to WhatsApp Terms of Service and its Effects to End Users.
In October 2021 WhatsApp changed their Terms of Service, but because many users were still confused about the change, WhatsApp issued this change gradually (https://blog.whatsapp.com/giving-more-time-for-our-recent-update).
End customers cannot start a chat with Business and receive broadcast messages from Business if they have not agreed to the new privacy policy. However, on the other hand, Qiscus will not charge credit and quota if the end customer has not approved the privacy policy.
The number of customers who have not agreed to this according to our data and observations is relatively small. Until the end of March and early April there was only 2% and it continued to decrease because more and more people were approving ToS from WhatsApp.
